Our Team

Pastor Brett was born and raised in McComb, Mississippi, where he was saved at the age of nine. He surrendered for full-time Christian service at the age of thirteen. He met his wife, Emily, while attending Tri-State Baptist College in Memphis, TN, and they married in 2006. He graduated college in 2007 with a degree in Pastoral Theology. Brett served at his home church, Open Door Baptist Church in Summit, MS, as an assistant pastor for eight years. He then became lead pastor of Chesbrough Baptist Church in Kentwood, LA, where he pastored for six years, and he became pastor of Rocky Point Baptist Church in June of 2022. Brett and Emily have two boys, Collin and Caleb, and enjoy the adventure of serving together as a family!
